Silkemat
SilkeMat is a soft felt, NON-CARCINOGENIC refractory blanket which can be fired in the kiln – SilkeMat can be hand cut, moulded and fired as is, or treated with SilkeMat Rigidiser before firing to rigidise the shape required.
SilkeMat is perfect to make your own moulds, drop-out shapes, potmelts or vitrigraph mould, and can be fired repeatedly.
SilkeMat blanket is 3 foot wide and supplied per 1 foot length.
Silkemat Rigidiser is supplied in 1 litre bottles. One bottle will rigidise 2 sq ft of SilkeMat.
