A fresh start (and a few things I've been working on) May 25, 2026 12:40

Hello — it's been a while.

If you've been following Red Hot Glass for some time, you'll have noticed things have been a little quiet around here. Life has a way of doing that. But the kiln has stayed hot, and I've been doing a lot of thinking about what I want this studio — and this little corner of the internet — to look like going forward.

The short version: things are changing, in the best possible way.

The range is broader now. Alongside the wall art and jewellery you might already know, I've been developing new pieces that I'm genuinely excited about — things I've wanted to make for a while and have finally had the time and space to explore. There's more coming, and I can't wait to share it.

I'm also giving the website a refresh — new look, clearer navigation, and a layout that actually does justice to the work. That's a work in progress, but you'll start to see changes over the coming weeks.

Most importantly: I'm going to be showing up here more. New work, behind-the-scenes from the studio, the occasional look at what's coming out of the kiln. If you want to follow along, find me on Instagram at @redhotglassnz — I'd love to see you there.
